As part of the official opening of our new TASSK offices, we were honoured to hold a Traditional Smoking Ceremony—a deeply significant First Nations cultural practice that symbolises cleansing, protection, healing, and the welcoming of people into a new space.
The ceremony was more than a celebration of a new workplace. It was a meaningful reminder of the importance of recognising and respecting the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live and work. It also reinforced our commitment to fostering genuine relationships, embracing cultural knowledge, and creating spaces where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and connected.
Bringing our team together for this special occasion allowed us to pause, reflect, and begin this new chapter in a way that honours the rich cultural heritage that continues to shape our communities.
