Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) is the Australian Government’s new specialist disability employment program, launching in November 2025 to replace the Disability Employment Services (DES) model
IEA places participants at the centre of the process, ensuring supports are guided by individual goals rather than strict program rules. By focusing on empowerment and inclusion, IEA creates new opportunities for participants to thrive in the workplace and beyond.
Tailored, person-centred employment services designed to build confidence, skills and independence.
Participants can receive support for as long as they need it, with no two-year cap and eligibility extended to those working under eight hours a week or volunteering without Centrelink payments.
Access intensive support when needed or lighter-touch ongoing support, always shaped around individual goals and circumstances.
